What I DoEngagements built around what the organization actually needs.
Most clients come during a transition, a high-stakes moment, or a capability gap. Engagements are structured around what the organization actually needs.
-

Fractional Communications Leadership
Step-in CCO or senior communications lead during gaps, transitions and high-pressure periods. I integrate quickly, operate as part of the team and provide steady direction when execution and alignment matter most. Most clients in this engagement are navigating a leadership departure, accelerated growth, or a period of increased external scrutiny.
-

Executive Narrative & Media Readiness
Preparation and positioning for CEOs and C-suite leaders facing earnings, media scrutiny, investor moments and public visibility. The focus is message discipline, credibility and performance when the pressure is real. This includes briefing materials, preparation sessions and real-time counsel as situations evolve.
-

Internal Communications Strategy
Building unified strategies, governance models and editorial calendars for complex organizations navigating M&A, AI adoption, leadership change and transformation at scale. Particularly effective when communications is happening across the business but without structure, consistency or clear ownership.
-

Team & Capability Development
Competency frameworks, training systems and persuasive communication programs for public affairs and communications teams. Focused on building the standards, tools and shared language that help teams perform consistently across regions and functions.
How Engagements WorkStructured around the situation.
Most engagements begin with a single conversation to understand the situation and determine whether I am the right fit. From there, structure is built around what the organization actually needs.
Typical engagements run three to twelve months, with many extending beyond the initial scope. Structures range from embedded fractional leadership to project-based work to periodic advisory support.

AboutHi, I'm Matt See.
I've spent more than two decades inside and alongside complex healthcare organizations, building communications functions, counseling executive teams and leading through the moments that carry real weight.
My career includes senior communications leadership roles inside Fortune 20 healthcare organizations with more than 75,000 employees. I've built and led marketing and communications functions from the ground up, counseled CEOs through IPOs and public affairs crises, and helped leaders across managed care, biotech, pharma and hospital systems navigate the moments that tested their organizations and their reputations.
Today, through Matt See Communications, I partner with organizations that need experienced communications leadership without adding a full-time executive. Most of my clients are navigating a transition, a high-stakes moment or a capability gap and need someone who can step in, integrate quickly and help them move forward.
